Azabache - extrait de parfum

A light breeze of a cold church saturated with incense is mingling with the salty scent of the endless ocean and the hot air permeating the rose gardens.

Azabache is a creative collaboration of Pigmentarium with Paris-based Spanish fashion designer Arturo Obegero. Created in a limited edition of 300, the perfume comes in hand-painted black flacon.

The fragrance opens with energetic and sparkling pink pepper and verbena. The focus is on the three most beautiful roses – the Mai, Turkish and Otto roses. Their velvety fusion is the heart of Azabache and represents passionate love. In the base, gently sensual notes of civet, musk and vetiver growl. As an elegant counterpart, cedarwood and mystical olibanum are used.

The deep black bottle of perfume symbolizes the depth of night, intimacy, and spirituality of the inner world.  The glass is covered with a layer of black paint applied by hand with simple brush strokes by Arturo Obegero.  Each bottle with texts made of 24k gold is thus the original of its kind.

The first Czech independent perfume house made its debut in Prague in the autumn of 2018 with the Ad Libitum fragrance. Brand creation is strongly influenced by the outlook of the young generation on the fundamental artistic direction and lifestyle of the Czech Republic in the first half of the twentieth century. Functionalism, modernity, and avant-garde are interpreted by scents and contemporary means of expression. 

The Pigmentarium portfolio, which is growing with a new perfume every year, also consists of interior fragrances and design objects.
