Job description
Do you understand how to implement the most effective social media strategy based on brand strategy? Are you creative, skilled in editing, preferably with photography, filming, and writing? Do you know how to build a community and stay updated on the latest trends on social media platforms? Then we are looking for you!

Role
Enhance your knowledge in retail, niche perfumes, and branding. As our social media intern, you will help increase the online visibility of our luxury perfume brands. You will create and manage online content for our boutique Perfume Lounge and our new perfume brand Annindriya in Amsterdam. We offer a lot of space for your own initiative and creativity!

What will you do?
- Sharpen our social media strategy based on the brand strategies of Perfume Lounge and Annindriya.

- Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience.

- Develop and edit content in both visual and textual formats.

- Implement a content calendar across various social media channels.

- Devise creative concepts to expand our social media reach.

What makes you the perfect candidate?
You will have a lot of responsibilities, so you know how to take action and work independently. You are not afraid to pitch your own ideas and develop projects. Additionally, it is helpful if you have experience with Photoshop/Adobe/Canva, so you can design the most engaging posts according to our brand guidelines. It is possible to complete a graduation project with us.

Profile

• You are pursuing a bachelor's degree in communication, media, or digital marketing.
• You are looking for a full-time internship (at least 4 days a week) for a minimum of 4 months; start date to be discussed, preferably in August or September.
• You are familiar with all social media channels.
• You are up-to-date with the latest social media trends and functionalities.
• You have an eye for creating and designing social content.
• You are results-oriented, organized, and proactive.
• You are fluent in Dutch, write flawless Dutch, and have a good command of English.
• You have an affinity with cosmetics and perfume.

We are a luxury, high-end niche perfume boutique in Amsterdam South, near Vondelpark. For over 15 years, we have been offering personalized advice to customers in finding unique perfumes. Our team consists of eight enthusiastic perfume experts. We have a beautiful garden where we enjoy working and having lunch in the summer. Besides hard work, there is, of course, time for fun; a good atmosphere within our team is very important. Our boutique and office are easily accessible by public transport.
