Masculin Pluriel by Maison Francis Kurkdjian is timeless, though yet groomed. Francis aimed for a robust, virile, manly scent. We mostly find it addictively delicious!
The search for the eternally feminine and masculine inspired the creation of the ‘Pluriel’ collection, the new opus in Francis Kurkdjian’s perfume wardrobe. Féminin Pluriel and Pluriel masculin. A beautiful creation made up out of a multitude of facets, designed to evolve with freedom and sensuality, not bound by time. A search for timelessness, the recognizable quality of all great classics.
A fougère accord, the trademark of the big men in history, amplified by the depth of lavender absolute from the Provence and a soft leathery accord built on a structure of Oriental red cedar, Indonesian patchouli and vetiver from Haïti.
We could not agree more with the French Vogue: “Francis tackles the difficult question how to create the most timeless of scents for men and women”.
Vetiver, Cedarwood, Grapefruit, Lavender, Leather, Patchouli

Fougere
A traditional fougère is characterized by citrus top notes, an aromatic heart of lavender, roses or geranium that lay on a bed of oak moss and hay smelling coumarin. The name Fougère stems from the original perfume Fougère Royale, created in 1882 by the iconic perfumer Houbigant. As Houbigant said at the time, "if God had given ferns a scent, they would have smelled like Fougère Royale."

Francis Kurkdjian
Francis Kurkdjian hardly needs any introduction: this famous perfumer already made a name for himself at the age of 26 when he created the international best seller Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male. The following decade, Kurkdjian worked for prestigious brands, including Dior, Elizabeth Arden, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, alongside collaborating with private clients. After working with big brands, Kurkdjian embraced a new opportunity and started his very own brand in 2009: Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Perfume Lounge was at the launch of this beautiful brand in Paris and was proud to introduce his brand to the Netherlands as the very first perfumery. Kurkdjian is versatile and creative. He elegantly combines two cultures of his French-Armenian heritage into fragrances with a natural richness. The collection of Maison Francis Kurkdjian is like a perfume wardrobe for different moments, emotions and moods.
