AZABACHE by Pigmentarium returns today, after more than three years, in a new iteration. It represents the evolution undergone by both the Arturo Obegero and Pigmentarium brands during this time.

Crafted in collaboration with Spanish fashion designer Arturo Obegero, AZABACHE made its debut in 2021 to critical acclaim. The initial release, housed in sleek black bottles with golden accents, quickly became well-loved collector's items for fragrance enthusiasts worldwide. Now, AZABACHE CHAPTER 2 builds upon this legacy with a refined composition that blurs the boundaries between femininity and masculinity.

Opening with vibrant notes of geranium and pink pepper, this elegant perfume seamlessly transitions into the timeless opulent scent of rose alongside bergamot and geranium. As the fragrance develops, animalic tones are set back to leave room for labdanum: a new balsamic component that gives the new perfume its essential character. This resin from Cistus shrubs, also known as rock roses, has been sought after for centuries for its complex and deep scent with hints of wood, leather, and amber. The first Czech independent perfume house made its debut in Prague in the autumn of 2018 with the Ad Libitum fragrance. Brand creation is strongly influenced by the outlook of the young generation on the fundamental artistic direction and lifestyle of the Czech Republic in the first half of the twentieth century. Functionalism, modernity, and avant-garde are interpreted by scents and contemporary means of expression. 

The Pigmentarium portfolio, which is growing with a new perfume every year, also consists of interior fragrances and design objects.
