Poudre Riz by Pierre Guillaume is a great powdery and elegant perfume, reminding on make up and warm skin.
Pierre Guillaume got his inspiration for this fragrance from a passage from Henri Barbusse’s book The Inferno (1908). “The air in the closed room was filled with heavy odors. Soap, face powder and the pungent smell of an eau de cologne”.
This elegant eau de parfum consists of poudre de riz (a combination of accords sandalwood, iris, tolu balsam, tonka bean, benzoin), monoi, rose, and vanilla. The whole almost gives the feeling of a soft winter sun on the skin, powdery, with an exotic touch.

In his Collection Noire, perfumer Pierre Guillaume makes use of new techniques by obtaining extracts from plants. The concentrations in these Eau de Parfums are built minimalistic and there aren't any olfactive piramides. This means there are no limits to your own interpretations of the perfumes. The black perfume bottles are a real eye catcher.
Powder
Powdery notes in perfume create a comforting and clean effect, making you feel pampered. One might also associate powdery perfumes as luxurious, sophisticated and seductive thanks to its musky and soft floral combinations.

Pierre Guillaume
When he was just 25 years old, Pierre Guillaume launched his first perfume called Cozé. Chandler Burr, renowned and respected perfume critic, described this fragrance as 'the coolest of new European fragrances from a young French chemist'. That was the beginning of his career and his own perfume house: Parfumerie Générale, which is now called Pierre Guillaume. Pierre Guillaume uses innovative processes to create fragrances. You can recognize his personal style in his perfumes, with high-quality scents that remain perceptible on the skin for a long time without overpowering.
