Mizunara by Satori is a perfume inspired by Japanese whisky and the Mizunara oak barrels that this whisky matures. This Japanese native oak (Mizunara means Mongolian / Japanese oak) gives the whisky its special taste.
The top notes of Mizunara give a stimulating sensation, similar to taking a sip of malt whisky. The galbanum arrises fairly quickly, along with an aromatic chord and the distinct wood notes in the heart of this perfume.
The rich taste and smell of these oak barrels is represented by sandalwood and agarwood (kyara, Japanese oud). The slightly roasted sweetness of labdanum and a dry smoky chord form the basis. The metallic amber accord gives this fragrance its refined character.
Mizunara was originally developed for men, but certainly also a wonderful fragrance for women.
