Baïkal Leather Intense by Nicolaï Paris is specially created by Patricia de Nicolai to celebrate the 30-years anniversary of her brand Parfums Nicolaï.
“Inspired by ‘Cuir de Russie’ fragrances and the way they used to make leather in Russia, Baïkal Leather Intense achieves this leather aspect which is essentially created by blending two dry, woody notes: essence of guaiac wood and essence of smoked pine. This powerful duet is revealed by a fiery start of spicy citrus with yuzu, pepper and saffron, while the aromatic touch of spearmint completes the top notes. The floral heart of rose and violet envelops the leather, softened by an iris butter, tonka beans and white musk background.”
Congratulations to Patricia de Nicolai and her team, on the anniversary ánd on this gorgeous master piece: elegant, refined, très Parisienne.

Leather
Discover the multiple facets of leather in perfumes. Think of the smell of a leather jacket, a pair of suede shoes, the inside of a leather bag, or an old Chesterfield… Leather gives a luxurious, seductive and elegant touch to the fragrance. But it is also dark, robust and slightly animalic which makes this smell mysteriously tantalizing.
