Neandertal Light concentrates on the present. It’s an expansive and radiant creation. It is linear and harmoniously structured at the same time.
Inspired by nature in all its authenticity, Light is composed of hinoki oil and green notes. Light is transparent and mineral, an olfactory still-life of nature. Light is a perfume that intrigues and it’s hard to resist. The metal accord in combination with iris gives Light a soft glare. Nuances of leather and amber give the fragrance a magnetic and powerful presence. Light is a perfume that is both minimalistic and mysterious.
The glass bottle was made using 3D printing techniques resulting in this unique design.

Leather
Discover the multiple facets of leather in perfumes. Think of the smell of a leather jacket, a pair of suede shoes, the inside of a leather bag, or an old Chesterfield… Leather gives a luxurious, seductive and elegant touch to the fragrance. But it is also dark, robust and slightly animalic which makes this smell mysteriously tantalizing.
Euan McCall
Euan McCall is a Scottish perfumer from Edinburgh. He has created perfumes for cult brands (such as Neandertal) and now runs his own brand Jorum Studio with his partner Chloe Mullen. Their perfumes are contemporary and unique, and to quote McCall: "It is so important for us that each Jorum creation is new, original and of quality which we hope ultimately progresses the narrative - we aren’t interested in trends or trying to copy existing works.
