Frapin is a cognac house that also has a fragrance line. The Frapin family has been based at the Château de Fontpinot, in the heart of the Grande Champagne region, since 1270. Their cognacs and fragrances are a beautiful reflection of French cultural sophistication. The inspiration of the perfumes lies in the richness of taste, colors and scents of cognacs. The perfumes all exude an air of luxury, which is what one expects from a cognac house! They transport the wearer to a sense of beauty, celebration and seduction.

Woody
Woody fragrances are full of character and indeed very woodsy. They can be warm, soothing and creamy, but also dry and spicy. Key ingredients are cedar wood, patchouli, sandalwood and/or vetiver. Oudh (agarwood), Palo Santo and guaiac wood have also joined the perfumer's palet, just like the fantastic synthetics such as Javanol or Iso-E-Super.
Meabh McCurtin
Irish perfumer Meabh McCurtin, a rising star in modern perfumery, has created exciting bespoke and niche perfumes for smaller niche brands and luxury companies. While Meabh’s academic pursuits initially steered her towards the world of science, it was during her master's program in molecular biology that her true vocation to become a perfumer unfolded. Meabh's passion for perfumery has led her on a captivating journey, spanning from Lyon and Geneva to Amsterdam, New York, and her current residence in Paris. Among her accomplishments stands an award-winning fragrance, Róisín Dubh, inspired by her roots in Ireland. She has also created Eau d’Amsterdam with Perfume Lounge owner and scent designer, Tanja Deurloo, a perfume based on the scent of Amsterdam’s Elm trees. Blending her deep appreciation for poetry with the art of perfumery, Meabh crafts scents that resonate with a profound sense of refinement and artistry.
