Rake & Ruin was inspired by the paintings of William Hogarth, depicting the moral fall in the UK in the Georgian times, called ‘A Rake’s Progress’. Exactly this feelings is what BeauFort London tries to capture, the scents of a dark stuffy bar, full of sweaty bodies and booze.
Rake & Ruin is an eau de parfum with the unusual high concentration of 30% oil. So beware of another forceful creation!

Woody
Woody fragrances are full of character and indeed very woodsy. They can be warm, soothing and creamy, but also dry and spicy. Key ingredients are cedar wood, patchouli, sandalwood and/or vetiver. Oudh (agarwood), Palo Santo and guaiac wood have also joined the perfumer's palet, just like the fantastic synthetics such as Javanol or Iso-E-Super.
