Bouquet de Hongrie is a fresh and bright floral bouquet with juicy, green and fruity facets. Blackcurrant and lushious pear bring brightness to the romantic heart of Turkish rose and Egyptian jasmine. In the background, musks, amber and cedar leave a warm and sensual trail.
The fragrance pays tribute to David Benedek's roots and to his grandmother Edith Benedek, a grande dame who helped bring prestigious perfumes to Paris throughout the 20th century. She was the one who taught and explained the stories of the perfume houses to her grandson and BDK founder David Benedek. These discussions, anchored in his mind, later gave him the desire to create his own perfume house. In 1959, Edith opened her first perfumery in Paris and, more than 50 years later, her grandson launched BDK Parfums in 2016.
To create this aquatic floral fragrance, David Benedek was inspired by the flowers' stems submerged in water. The result, in collaboration with the talented Serge Majoullier, is a transparant floral scent.
Note from the perfumer, Serge Majoullier:
"The idea was to work on a fresh and luminous floral bouquet, in the image of a delicate and romantic woman, by associating it with juicy, green and fruity facets. Blackcurrant and pear bring an airy sparkle to the rose and jasmine bouquet, on a soft and comfortable musky and amber background."

BDK is committed to quality and authenticity: each scent is meticulously curated without predetermined formulas, utilizing artisanal techniques and premium ingredients. The perfume collection resembles a contemporary bookstore, housing an array of scents, each narrating a distinct story.
