A charismatic rebel who answers to no one, intoxicating and unpredictable.
Boozy, voluptuous and fruity. Berlin im Winter by Baruti is an intoxicating fragrance that evokes intimate and cosy nights by the fireplace. The composition opens with a fresh note of Greek mastic, cushioned by the sweetness of plum, blackcurrant leaf and the booziness of whisky.
The hint of roasted coffee gives it an unmistakable modern edge. A dreamy whisper of rose lurks in the background. An all-weather scent with captivating stories to tell.
Rose, Incense, Amber, Lentisque, Plum, Orris, Coffee, Lavender, Leather, Myrrh
Baruti means gunpowder in the Greek and Arab language (μπαροuτι) and you can tell why: each fragrance is like a fragrant unexpected explosion on your skin. Baruti is the label of the Dutch-Greek independent perfumer, Spyros Drosopoulos, introduced in 2015. Spyros combines creativity with wearability in fragrances, resulting in perfumes that are strong, memorable and intense.

Fougere
A traditional fougère is characterized by citrus top notes, an aromatic heart of lavender, roses or geranium that lay on a bed of oak moss and hay smelling coumarin. The name Fougère stems from the original perfume Fougère Royale, created in 1882 by the iconic perfumer Houbigant. As Houbigant said at the time, "if God had given ferns a scent, they would have smelled like Fougère Royale."
Spyros Drosopoulos
Born in the Netherlands and raised in Greece, Spyros Drosopoulos has always been a connoisseur of smell and taste. After a scientific career as psychologist, Spyros decided to dedicate his creative talents and his sharp analytical mind entirely to creating extraordinary perfumes. As independent perfumer since 2012 he launched his own brand Baruti in 2015. "This is what my dreams smell like, I make personal and immediate perfumes. Deceptively playful, rooted in the unconscious, perplexing the senses, like kaleidoscopic explosions of beauty. They can blow you away." - Spyros Drosopoulos.
