Introducing Hot Cotton, where the essence of freshly ironed laundry captures an enchanting realism that transports you to the moment the iron touches fabric, filling the air with pure cleanliness and comfort.
Hot Cotton is beautifully blended with the unique warmth of Aldambre, a material evoking the scent of hot metal, expertly woven into a robust Hot Iron Accord. This is complemented by musks and a touch of undisclosed magic, creating a fragrance that is both comforting and straightforward.
Note from the perfumer, Spyros Drosopoulos:
"This perfume is proof that chemistry is the closest thing we have to magic! Sometimes, you come across materials you just couldn't believe they exist. Aldambre is such a material and smells like hot metal."
Hot iron accord, Musk
Baruti means gunpowder in the Greek and Arab language (μπαροuτι) and you can tell why: each fragrance is like a fragrant unexpected explosion on your skin. Baruti is the label of the Dutch-Greek independent perfumer, Spyros Drosopoulos, introduced in 2015. Spyros combines creativity with wearability in fragrances, resulting in perfumes that are strong, memorable and intense.

Musk
Musk: versatile and exciting. Musky perfumes are powdery, creamy and caring, but also sensual, earthy and a little animalic. It is a favorite base note used in all kinds of products, from perfumes to skincare to candles and beyond. Back in the day, actual musk was derived from animal glands. Fortunately musk of animal origin is no longer allowed. The musky scents you smell today is entirely ethical, made up of a combination of beautiful synthetics and natural resources like plants.
Spyros Drosopoulos
Born in the Netherlands and raised in Greece, Spyros Drosopoulos has always been a connoisseur of smell and taste. After a scientific career as psychologist, Spyros decided to dedicate his creative talents and his sharp analytical mind entirely to creating extraordinary perfumes. As independent perfumer since 2012 he launched his own brand Baruti in 2015. "This is what my dreams smell like, I make personal and immediate perfumes. Deceptively playful, rooted in the unconscious, perplexing the senses, like kaleidoscopic explosions of beauty. They can blow you away." - Spyros Drosopoulos.
